We are developing an international art and design center of the highest quality in a former ammunitions depot in Montabaur, Germany.
This former military area with its distinctive bunkers and streets has beentaken over by nature in the past years and is now a park of serene beautyand extraordinary flair providing the right surrounding for this unique project.
The former ammunitions depot is tucked away in the forest of Montabaur, located in central Germany between Frankfurt and Cologne and has excellent access to the ICE train station, the A 3 and the A 48 (freeways).
This exceptional location contains 8 small bunkers, 2 mid size and 5 large bunkers connected by small quaint streets.
While providing exhibition spaces and design studios, it is of the utmost importance to respect and maintain the natural setting of the site.
It is this contradicting co-existence of concrete bunkers, streets and serene surrounding that gives this site its silent magic and its unique atmosphere enhancing an extraordinary presentation and experience of art.
Stage 1
The vision of the b-05 art and design center is a long term project that will be realized in two stages. In the first stage we will reconstruct and develop the existing facilities.
Stage 2
In the future, we will develop additional structures and buildings on the site, providing artists, designers
And architects a progressive work space to express their creativity and exhibit their work, establishing a vital hub where visitors and creative minds share one location for dialogue.
